About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Team Leader for our client, a leading company in the food manufacturing/FMCG sector, based in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in engineering and a specific focus on electrical systems to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of SHIRE systems and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex engineering issues.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.

 

Requirements:

  • Mandatory experience in food manufacturing/FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience with SHIRE and PPM systems.
  • Strong managerial experience, with a track record of leading and developing engineering teams.
  • Electrical engineering bias with a solid understanding of electrical systems and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
