Salary: Circa £63,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Engineering Shift Manager looking for a challenging role with a leading company in the food manufacturing industry? Our esteemed client is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Manage and lead a team of engineers, ensuring high performance and motivation.
• Operations Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the manufacturing process, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Maintenance: Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, focusing on preventative measures to reduce equipment failures.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.

Shift Pattern:

• 4-5-5 Rotating Shifts: Work a rotating shift pattern of 12-hour days and nights over an 8-week repeating cycle.
• Time Off: Enjoy 205 days off per year, including holidays taken.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in managing a team of engineers within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Electrical Bias: Ideally, candidates will have an electrical engineering background.
• Food Manufacturing: Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a must.
