We are thrilled to be recruiting for the role of Engineering Project Manager on behalf of a highly respected client within the food manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business at the forefront of its sector, based in their modern Leyland facility.

 

The Role

As Engineering Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and deliver engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects align with operational needs.
  • Drive improvements in processes, systems, and equipment to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide clear project updates, timelines, and risk assessments to key decision-makers.

 

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in engineering project management within the UK food manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering capital and process improvement projects.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • A thorough understanding of engineering standards and health and safety regulations.
