The Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Apprenticeship Certificate
- Experience working as an Electrical Engineer in manufacturing (preferably FMCG)
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
The Role.
As an Electrical Engineer in their manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment used in their production processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of their manufacturing operations.
- Perform electrical system troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integrations of electrical systems with mechanical and automation systems.
- Evaluate and select electrical components and equipment to meet project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
