We’re working with a leading food business in Liverpool who have a new opening in their team. If you’re a supply chain specialist with a flair for numbers, analysing data, and collaborating with retail customers then this could be for you!

About the Role

As a key part of the Supply Chain Team, you’ll be identifying and driving cost savings, recommending service improvements, and delivering operational efficiencies across the supply chain.

The role involves extensive data analysis, collaborating with colleagues across the business, and developing strong relationships with retail customers. Some of the things you’ll be doing include:

  • Gathering and interpreting data, to understand costs and improve efficiencies across all aspects of customer supply chain.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in areas such as transport, materials management, and order processing.
  • Working closely with commercial and marketing teams to ensure new products are listed properly and support changes to existing ranges.
  • Negotiating with customers to implement new, more efficient ways of working.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is good with numbers, confident working with data, enjoys solving problems, and understand how supply chain fits together.

Ideally, you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Supply chain, logistics, or customer service background, preferably gained in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Strong communicator, able to work closely with colleagues and customers at all levels
  • Strong IT skills – SAP experience would be ideal (although training can be provided) and advance Excel knowledge.
  • Proactive, curious mindset
