Job Title: Automation Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £55k
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 8-4:30
The Role:
- Responsible and accountable for all aspects of automation and shopfloor data capture supporting engineering, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and control site operational and engineering software.
- Assist in developing data capture hardware and software systems.
- Work with capex team as required to implement automation and data capture projects.
- Work with IT to ensure robust and consistent site connectivity and data visibility and availability in the most usable form.
The Candidate:
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety (IOSH preferable).
- Multi-skilled electrically biased engineer – HNC level or above.
- Computer literate with knowledge of CMMS.
- FMCG experience.
- Software programming capability across multiple platforms.
- CI and experience of 5y and 5S.
