Are you looking for an opportunity to kick start your technical career in food manufacturing? Our client is a well-established manufacturer of ambient foods, producing well-known brands and has recently been bought out by a major company. With exciting plans to expand further, this company offers career progression and new opportunities within an already successful business.
The Role
- Ensure business objective are met to produce safe and legally compliant food
- Support site product assessment systems to ensure products meet the required quality and customer agreed specifications
- Conduct audits with respect to GMP, hygiene, glass, other foreign bodies, and compliance to procedures
- Support business during third party audits and traceability exercises
- Support and coordination of customer complaint investigations by root cause analysis and identifying preventative actions
- Coordinate sample send outs for laboratory analysis according to site schedules and interpretation of results
- Review and approval of packaging deliveries against approved artwork files
- Conduct swabbing activities according to site schedule and support production during free from production or site validation/verification activities
The Candidate
- Previous experience in the food industry
- Full understanding of QA Technician requirements
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ideally Food Safety and HACCP level 3 trained
The Salary and Package
- £24,000 – £25,000
- Monday to Friday – 4 weeks on days (6:00 – 14:30) and 1 week on nights (22:00 – 6:30)
