The early days

Back in 2014, Pizza Hut was struggling to source the right Technical Coordinator for its ever-growing Technical team in the UK. Silven wasted no time in getting on the phone with them to better understand what they were looking for in a candidate. We filled the role within a couple of weeks, with a candidate who’s still with the business today.

Following this successful placement, we were approached to help them with two more senior roles within their Supply Chain team, after our initial HR contact referred us to the new Head of HR.

The solution

In early 2015, we met Pizza Hut at their Head Office in St Albans to discuss adding two more permanent employees to their Supply Chain team. Our retained search service came in handy here. Once we received a detailed brief outlining their hiring requirements, we got to work actively targeting the relevant candidates. We then used video interviewing platforms to shortlist the best individuals, before sending their CVs and pre-recorded interviews to Pizza Hut.

After they had reviewed each applicant, they decided who to invite to a second-stage interview. While the responsibility of conducting these interviews was in their hands, we didn’t leave them stranded. Our established permanent team prepared the shortlisted candidates, providing helpful feedback and keeping an open line of communication throughout.


The results

Since 2015, we’ve filled more than ten permanent positions for Pizza Hut, including a Supply Chain Director, two Senior Procurement Managers, two Senior Quality Managers, a Supply Chain Planner, a Buyer, and a Quality Manager. These individuals have had a significant impact on the business, and many have been promoted within the Group.
