The Role
- Lead the site quality team, ensuring compliance with BRC regulatory and Customer Standards (product safety, legality, traceability, quality, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements)
- Supporting operations in short to long term strategies surrounding product quality
- Take a significant role in the HACCP activities
- Site non-conformances: to report efficiently and in timely manner site non-conformances, food safety and quality incidents as required
- Investigate customer complaints and respond appropriately and promptly, generate customer complain reports and trends
The Candidate:
- High-risk experience desired
- Experience in either quality assurance, quality systems or laboratory environment
- Preferably two years experience managing or supervising teams in an FMCG, with experience in BRC, other GFSI and Retailer Standards
- Food/Science related degree
- Formal food hygiene and HACCP training preferably at supervisory level
- Internal auditing training and experience
- Effectively lead and motivate teams to deliver site objectives
