Overview

To support the packaging development team to understand consumer and customer needs and technical requirements to deliver on those needs.  Help develop a packaging program that delivers commercial growth.

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships with design houses and other external suppliers
• Improve packaging processes
• Support NPD processes to bring new products to market
• Support day to day issues with site packaging
• Develop understanding of current packaging products and how they van be improved
• Ensure all existing packaging is fit for purpose and compliant
• Deliver packaging cost savings and rationalisation projects
• Making decisions on packaging materials, specs and design changes
• Working cross functionally with other teams in the business

Candidate

• Ideally degree qualified
• Packaging relevant qualifications
• Food manufacturing experience ideal (other FMCG backgrounds will be considered)
