A leading food manufacturer are seeking a HR Engagement and Talent Manager to join their operations and to add value to the business whilst helping to deliver the organisation’s growth strategy.

 

This Engagement and Talent Manager role offers an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional to develop an engagement and talent plan which ensures people activities are embedded and sustainable across the group.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for engagement and talent, learning and development, strategic resourcing and culture
  • Understands current workforce and forecast future requirements developing plans to address shortages, surplus, mismatch and create resourcing pools
  • Develop and lead the implementation of an organisation capability model maintaining pipelines of critical skills in key talent pools which equip the organisation with future skills
  • Develop the employer brand and lead attraction strategies for different resourcing pools initiating a ‘great place to work’ experience and ensuring the organisation is leading the way in diversity
  • Create an onboarding experience that encourages ‘learner mindset’, an understanding of role and the organisation and links seamlessly to the start of the employee experience
  • Design development solutions for technical, behavioural and core skills using a variety of methods and technology to address skills identified by resourcing activity and track capability
  • Lead the development of a leadership strategy that equips and hold leaders to account for engaging and leading their teams and creating a positive culture

 

What you need:

  • Understanding of workforce trends, engagement, leadership and talent in diverse organisations
  • Demonstrable awareness of best practice resourcing and engagement and the implications for practical workplace processes and issues
  • Understanding of financial implications of people costs and how ‘value’ is created
  • Experience in developing talent, increasing engagement, strategic resourcing and leading change
  • Partnering a wide range of stakeholders
  • Leading people projects
  • Utilising technology and financial information in people activities
