Head of Procurement

I am currently looking for a Head of Procurement who has previous experience in Food Manufacturing environment. The role is with a very entrepreneurial food manufacturer who produce own label and branded products.

The Role:

  • Procurement

As Head of Procurement, you will review all procurement across the business identifying cost savings and efficiencies. In addition, you will ensure that strategic material and planning processes are in place to ensure that orders are fulfilled.

As well as this, you will lead contract negotiations for all raw material and packaging contracts and manage relationships. A hands on role it will be up to you to build a small team and take the department to the next level.

The Candidate:

  • Procurement and supply management experience
  • Food Manufacturing ideally within commodities
  • Team Player

You will have experience of importing including import duties/tariffs. Must have delivered demonstrable savings within your previous role. Flexibility to go above and beyond your job role in terms of working with other departments and helping.

You will have passion for food and manufacturing and the ability to take the role and build relationships with suppliers.
